Location
The Design Center Linz at Europaplatz 1, 4020 Linz, is directly connected to the public transport network. The nearest bus stops are approx. 200 meters. The distance to the main train station is around. 2km.
Deschription
The Design Center Linz is going for Green - today, tomorrow, in the future. Sustainability and responsible use of our resources are key topics. Since 1. December 2012, the Design Center is therefore providers and certifier for Green Meetings & Events.
More and more operators opt for Green Meetings or Green Events. Most of them benefit from the image boost with guests, sponsors, customers and the regional population. For events, this venue is a role model to special emphasis on an environmentally friendly arrival and departure, waste prevention and energy efficiency as well as to the local economy.
Catering products from the farmland and Fairtrade products are used. With a bit of flexibility, the costs of a green meeting or event are not higher than other comparable events.
The Design Center is ahead of its time: even at establishing, it was important to create a timeless, multi-functional and environmentally sustainable event venue - just today "Green Thoughts" accordingly. An additional well water cooling the Design Center is aerated economical, efficient and environmentally friendly all year round.
The Design Center is fulfilling its environmental and social responsibility with conviction and will continue along this path in the future.
