The Forsthaus Langschlägerwald is located 150 kilometres northwest from Vienna and 80 kilometres northeast from Linz, 4 kilometres from Langschlag and 5 kilometres from Liebenau towards the boarder area of the Waldviertler Highland and the Mühlviertel. The Forsthaus Langschlägerwald lies 940 meters above sea level.
Description
Throughout the landscapes of hills, which are characterised by their woodlands, granite blocks, little meadows, fields & ponds overlies the hidden jewel of Forsthaus. The house’s standalone location is isolated from any other settlements. Upon your arrival, you will cross a dam which’s duty is to impound the smallish moor pond. Seeing the centuries old house with its thick granite walls, you are now part of its embedded natural garden landscape, with the possibilities to eat and lie down. The ensemble is structured into an ancient hunting lodge, a guesthouse with its wellness, a horse stable connected to a paddock, a heated swimming pool, a little moor pond with a rowboat & a riding ground.
The "Forsthaus" can only be rented exclusively by a group of guests (two to eight people). Guests have a reception hall, a salon, two dining rooms, a living hall and four bedrooms including bathrooms.
For your events you can also have a 60 m2 room, which can be adapted for your particular needs.
